As of Feb. 28, 2024, there are over 122 Manileños who have registered their children's birth for this year’s Operation Birthright Program, a civil registration officer said.
Operation Birthright is a program that welcomes applications for late registration of birth certificates.
Under this program, parents may register the birth of their children at no cost at the City Civil Registry Office. This year, they catered to children from the six district hospitals of Manila, aged 17 and below. It is conducted annually during the month of February to commemorate “Civil Registration Month.”
Ana Hospital.
The Facebook page of the City Civil Registry of Manila announced the program on Feb. 6, 2024.
